The staff, elders and building team will now meet twice on Sundays to continue to petition God for His provision. We have seen some answers and we would like to challenge you to continue to pray until we receive God’s answer! We’d love you to join us (for either or both) as we seek God together.

ANGEL TREE TAGS

Every year Angel Tree asks churches and individuals to provide Christmas gifts to the children of prisoners on behalf of their incarcerated parent. We love the opportunity to help build or repair these relationships. As part of this Advent Season, if you would like to provide a gift for one of these children or deliver gifts to a family, please see Lauren in the Advent area.

EQUIPPING SESSION: SPIRITUAL WARFARE with Dr. Gerry Breshears

Join us for a Spiritual Warfare Seminar. Spiritual warfare begins with evangelism and discipleship and goes on to helping people traumatized by involvement with the demonic. Knowing the types and limits of satanic stratagems against Christians and the church is essential in our increasingly pagan society. We will develop practical methodologies to help people find freedom from spiritual bondage.

EVANGELISM TRAINING WITH SCOTT MCNAMARA
November 16 | 6:30PM | Contact: GC Office
Jesus At The Door (JAD 3:20) is a Christian evangelism initiative birthed on the streets of Coleraine, Northern Ireland, during a powerful move of God which has seen over 6,000 people accept Jesus since 2014. Using a simple, no-pressure approach to evangelism, JAD 3:20 seeks to equip, empower, and enable every believer to share their faith and lead people into relationship with Jesus. Scott McNamara asked God to teach him how to become more effective at talking to people about Jesus on the streets. Over the course of two years, with God’s guidance, Scott developed and refined an extremely simple method that can be memorized and used by anyone. JAD 3:20 uses a simple, structured approach – seven simple questions that lead people to a place where they can decide whether they are ready to accept Jesus into their heart.

By having a place where kids and their parents can come and create handmade Christmas gifts, families have the opportunity to reallocate resources toward Giving More. There will be a number of different crafts to do that are suitable for a wide variety of ages. Make as many gifts as you want for $2 per craft. Contact Lauren with any questions or if you would like to volunteer at the event.
