____________________________________________________________________ Dear Parents & Students, Here is the letter regarding the news of our new Jr. High leader coming July 15th. Please read and feel free to contact me with any questions. Dear Parents
We want to welcome BJ Quimba to our Junior High Community! BJ and his wife Cheryl will be coming in July. They’ll be taking the lead role of the ministry as I move into new responsibilities at Grace Chapel. BJ Quimba is an excellent student ministry pastor and I’m excited for him to bring his expertise in discipleship, service, worship and much more! Both Jon Furman and I know BJ very well from past working relationships. We look forward to a wonderful season with BJ leading our Junior High students. We informed the students of this change on Tuesday night and we’ll continue to process with them through the next few weeks. As we make this transition, one of the significant benefits is that I will be present and involved as BJ takes the lead. I am certain that students and parents will easily embrace BJ and Cheryl as a new part of the Grace Chapel family. As for me, I will be focusing more on media production and support ministry. I am very excited about enhancing Grace Chapel’s visual components and stepping in to develop new media and video ministries. It has been a joy to lead your teens through the past few years and I’m looking forward to continuing my involvement in a new supporting role. I really love the young people in our church and I’m very hopeful for their future. Our Elders and leadership team at Grace Chapel are very eager for BJ to begin. We are confident BJ will take our Junior High ministry to the next level and are encouraged to see how the Lord will work through him in the lives of your students. Please don’t hesitate to give me a call or email me with questions regarding this news. I would love to process with you and would covet your prayers as we move through this together.
