What is our money going to?  We are providing the resources to rehabilitate wells all over Liberia.  The only thing worse than not having clean water is having a broken clean water well.  When a village receives a well, people began to drink healthy water and their immunity to all the bacteria in the old unclean water disappears.  When the well breaks, the entire village has to go back to drinking unclean water which causes many sicknesses and death because they don’t have the immunity they had before.

How much does it cost to rehabilitate clean water wells?  It costs about $1500 per well

How many people go to one of these wells?  On average about 1000 to 1500 people go to a clean water well per day

How much does it cost for one person to have clean water?  It costs on average about $1.50 per person to have clean water.  For the price of a grande mocha at your favorite coffee place 3 to 4 people could have clean water.

How much of my money is going to the wells?  All of the money that you give will go to clean water wells. 

On top of all these facts it is very exciting because we have a $250,000.00 matching grant to work with.  So every dollar immediately turns into $2.00…this dramatically increases our potential to change many more peoples lives forever!
