LIFE TOGETHER

Twice a year, Grace Chapel Life Groups make themselves available for those looking to connect in a festive, fun and energetic environment on a Sunday morning.  We call this our Life Group Launch and its coming up on Sunday, March 2nd during both services.  It’s a great opportunity to learn about the vision we have at Grace Chapel for living in community and to connect with a group that will provide that for you.

God is unleashing the something powerful in our generation—the 8 to 12 people who meet regularly to live out God's purposes in community in a living room. A wave of spiritual renewal is beginning to build across North America and abroad. And it's happening through small groups—where "group life" provides a place for people to experience biblical community like never before. It's happening in living rooms. The emerging revolution seems to be different in kind from the small group movements in the past. Other waves may have focused more on the felt needs of belonging; people had a need for one another. Of course, that's true today as well. Today's movement is not only about belonging, which is only one of the biblical purposes. It's also about becoming healthy spiritually—an integration of all the five biblical purposes. Small groups are not just another program in a suite of church offerings. Small groups are the church—it's the primary way people get transformed—life on life. Life Change happens best in the context of community. Our vision for community ministry at Grace Chapel is to provide relational environments that lead to life change. We are expanding our Life Group ministry by multiplying new groups. Growth groups allow you to reach a new level of depth in your walk with God and others. Support groups and community groups are a great place to connect or invite your unchurched friends. Task groups focus on serving in a specific area of ministry like worship teams and greeters. Focus groups meet for a shorter period of time and focus on a Bible study or accountability.
