Kidventure Small Group Leader (K-5th grade only):   One service, every other week
Shepherding and leading a consistent small groups of students each week.  Connecting with kids on Sundays and praying for them throughout the week.  Facilitating the 252 Basics Curriculum during Plug In and Catch On time.

Kidventure Media:   Varies, for about an hour during a Sunday service
Overseeing the sound board and pro presenter in the Kidventure Theater during Power Up time.

Kidventure Oversight:   Varies, every other Sunday or one Sunday per month
Overseeing all of Children’s Community during a service.  Help with restroom needs, teacher/classroom needs, family check in, and ministry communication

Preschool Teacher:   Every other Sunday, one service
Use the curriculum to plan during the week for classroom time.  Share leadership in the classroom on Sundays with another adult on your team.  Shepherd and care for preschool children, teaching them the prepared Orange Curriculum.

Infant/Toddler Teacher:   Every other Sunday, one service
Participate in the classroom with caring for infants and toddlers.  Serve snack, facilitate activities, and play with the children in your classroom.

Coffee Services:   2 hours, one Sunday per month
Help set up, brew and cleanup the Sunday morning coffee service.

Mobile Greeter:   1 hour on Sundays, month on-month off
Help by being a connection point and last touch before a person experiences the service.

Stationary Greeter:   1 hour on Sundays, month on-month off
Help greet and interact with those who attend service on Sunday mornings

Info Table:  1 hour on Sundays, month on-month off
Help by welcoming and greeting those who come to Sunday service. Assist with giving people information that they might be looking for.

Parking:   1 hour on Sundays, month on-month off
Be the first touch to our guests and help them find a parking spot and assist with traffic flow.

Team Oversight:   2 hours on Sundays, month on-month off
Help lead and oversee the First Impressions Team by investing in the volunteers and helping maintain the First Impressions Team.

If you love current/modern worship music you might be a great candidate for a mix engineer and/or running lyrics.  We also are looking for people to run cameras while we record the services. Depending on position and level of skill, we will determine what level of training is required.

Front Desk:   2 or 4 hours per week, consistent days
Be the first impression people experience when working with Heart of the City! This is an ongoing, weekly opportunity with a set schedule. If you are friendly, compassionate, and organized, we would love to talk to you!

Boberg Campus Serve Day:   October 15, 9am-noon
Give the Heart of the City campus a facelift! In this few hours we will be doing some projects at our building to update, repair, and clean. Bring your grubby clothes and muscles, and let us know if you have any applicable skills that may help us “handyman”-style projects.

Wilsonville Community Serve:   Case-by-case, varies
Many needs are arising as Heart of the City continues to grow. We have seen needs from baby supplies to carrying a couch to getting a ride to an appointment. If you have a heart to help those in our community who are hurting and want to hear about tangible needs as they come up, let us know!


Junior High:   Sundays, 10:40a-12:30p

Ardent Jr. High meets every Sunday at 11am. Come be a leader and invest in these students lives and help lead them in their faith.

Senior High:   Varies

Ardent high school ministry is always looking for those who have a heart for students and seeing them draw closer to God. There are various opportunities to work alongside students as well as behind the scenes.


Meal Ministry:   Case-by case, Varies

Help cook and prepare a meal for ministries at grace chapel and for various needs that arise in the community at Grace Chapel.

Handyman Ministry:   Case-by-case, Varies
Contact: Lauren Pickthorn
Help with various needs that ministries in the church might have along with needs in the Grace Chapel community.

Moving Team:   Case-by-case, Varies

Helping those who need assistance moving.

Reset Team:   Varies

Help set up and reset for various events at Grace Chapel throughout the year.

Prayer Team:   One Sunday service, weekly, biweekly, or monthly

Join pastoral staff before service for corporate prayer, as well as provide prayer ministry at the end of service. Training/Screening is provided and required.
