At Grace Chapel, we believe life change happens best within the context of a community, actively pursuing Jesus in relationship with others and inviting them to speak into your life.  Each Group, about the size of an extended family, is centered around Jesus, committed to discipleship, and united by a set of shared rhythms. These small communities can take a number of forms. Groups often break for the summer and are supplemented by experiences like our One Service Sundays.

There are a number of common ways to get involved in a Group:

CONNECT SUNDAYS :: Three times a year we set apart a Sunday in order to help people connect to the life of the church. During these Sundays, space is given for the various ministries to be visible and accessible, Groups are opened to new members, and new Groups are launched. These typically happen in September, January and April.

SERVING :: Many people find their way into a Group through relationships formed outside of Connect Sundays. One of the quickest ways to meet others at Grace Chapel is to join a ministry team.

+ Serving in Kidventure: partnering with parents to create an engaging environment where children can experience God’s love and learn how to live out the life of Jesus. Contact:

+ Serving in Ardent Jr. & Sr. High: helping students discover God at an early age and align their lives to pursue Him. Contact:

+ Serving in First Impressions: helping make the Sunday morning environment a comfortable experience for all. Contact:

ATTENDING MINISTRY EVENTS :: We offer a number of smaller group experiences to foster relationships in the church which provide inroads into our Groups. Attending Men’s/Women’s Community events, seminars and workshops, and engaging in Justice and Compassion work all provide meaningful connection and inroads into Groups.
